We represent clients in the state and the federal courts in all aspects of labor and employment matters.
The Firm prepares and reviews employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, non-compete agreements, severance letters, offers of employment, arbitration agreements and releases. The Firm also prepares company manuals, employee handbooks, and employee policies. We strive to provide the most effective representation consistent with the objectives and resources of our clients.
The Firm counsels clients in all aspects of employment related decisions, including hiring, termination, wages, disciplinary actions, layoffs, transfers, promotions/demotions, breaks, leaves, vacations, attendance, use of computers, privacy rights of employees, performance appraisals, records keeping requirements mandated by state and federal governments, issues related to workers’ compensation coverage.
The Firm also represents clients in collective bargaining with unions, contractual arbitration and representation matters before the National Labor Relations Board. The Firm represents employers in unfair labor practice charges and representation hearings.
